Wawa Food Market in Rio Grande

I have stomach issues so I can only tolerate certain foods. So when I pay extra for a sandwich to have extras on it, I expect those to be on it. Not only bc I PAID EXTRA... Three times in a row this week alone, they've messed my sandwich up. Now it's personal.

Wish they would make their coffee a little stronger, or provide a strong blend. Otherwise great place.

Wawa is a joke anymore. They used to be good back in the day when they weren't so busy. Now they have a bunch of miserable people who are trained to move as fast as possible to get all the sandwiches out the door. It's a shame. I only go there for convenience anymore. If I want an actually good hoagie, I go to heritage now.

Pleasant people who work there whom are willing to help.

Needs cleaning

Manager behind the deli counter was extremely aggressive with employees. We could audibly hear her yelling at staff while one of their employees walked around with no mask. Otherwise my sandwich was great.

It good place go get food or drink or anything u need tho

Don't buy a sandwich of any kind. You order a large sandwich such as tuna and for $8.00 you get a schmear of tuna. Not worth it! All other Wawa's usually fill with 3 large scoops as you would ice cream, not 3 tiny scoops that equal 3 tablespoons. Don't buy a sandwich there. Cheapskates!!

Cafe Time for me and SWIPER

I have been to this Wawa several times in the past few years. This Wawa is always clean and the workers are always helpful.

Miserable food prep staff!! Downright rude.

Love Wawa but I wish they would stop blocking off pumps at night. Especially on a Holiday Weekend.

Hi to who it may concern I was in your store on Sunday, August 11 at about 11:30am and I notice that the foreign girl behind the counter short blond hair was only asking black people if they had their slips to pick up your food, As a black person that lives in this community I was highly offended I think whoever the manager of the store needs to talk to her and let her know this is not the proper way to conduct business

Great convienant store coffee tea etc etc.

On vacation and this WAWA was a life saver. Clean bathrooms & location, fresh food, great prices. In particular Sytasia (employees) was wonderful, she is THE BEST! Helpful and knowledgeable so friendly...I am very impressed and pleased.

It's a normal wawa. Has what u need.

Went to Wawa & thought the Snow Looked cool

Todays about 2am on 4-25-18. And the night deli person cant be bothered with simple directions on a order. When it says toast whole sandwich it means the whole thing! Not just the roll. Happens all the damn time. Read the screen people!! Besides for that the rest of the people are amazing at night :)

Great service and great food

It's an okay place to stop and pick something up to eat, it's just like any other wawa. Summertime parking is a mess so sometimes you have to park in the trailer parking at the back. Stay clear of their gas though, and watch out for cigarette panhandlers, as nighttime attracts them like moths to a light.

Will you hire me as a gas jocky??(only)

A great Wawa, but certainly one of the busiest.

Fast, efficient and professional! Love Wawa -- especially their fresh bacon, egg & cheese breakfast bagels! Ummm good!

this is a situation where the Patrons actually create the store or create the store experience [so ..hurry up.. is the feeling ] BUT the business is very well run. and clean and fast. same manager for many years, she is on the ball 24/7. It means switching out the bad seeds on a reg basis. i don't envy that job. ty. some places the serve people give up , like burger king .. lol

I think the staff of Wawa Rio Grande need to go to Wawa of Cape May and get some food prep training... On several occasions, I have received food that is less that outstanding, cheese un-melted, burritos wrapped poorly, sandwiches just tossed together. And to add to it, the food staff just has a poor attitude like the CUSTOMER is an inconveniencing them. For customer service these employees need to go work at chick-fil-a for a few days.

It is Wawa. Everything is going to be perfect!

What can I say, WaWa is the best.

I put a one star because they messed up all of my sandwiches. I asked for no cheese and mayo and they gave my oil and vinegar and cheese. Didn’t want anything in the other sandwiches and they put pickles and sweet peppers. It’s not hard to read a menu in front of you.
